Our StoryBliss Catch was founded by Dr. Yahaira Plata and Dr. Lauren Goli, two Latina physicians dedicated to reimagining the birth experience. Our mission is simple: create products that bring dignity, comfort, and peace of mind to families as they welcome new life.
Meet Yahaira
Yahaira Plata MD MPH is a Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Public Health at the University of Southern California. She spent some time working on various global health projects in Central America before medical school. She then completed her medical school training at the University of Illinois, Chicago in 2016 and stayed in Chicago, IL for her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Meet Lauren
Dr. Lauren Goli is a board-certified family physician who earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Swedish Family Medicine. She’s passionate about helping women feel their best through every stage of life, with a focus on perimenopause, nutrition, and strength for long-term wellness. Dr. Lauren takes a personalized, practical approach that combines medical expertise and strategies to boost energy, balance hormones, and support healthy aging. When she's not in the clinic, you can find her gardening, riding her peloton, or indulging in a good book.
